Bombardment of Dumbed-Down Music
I really feel like there are certain things that are constantly being forced on us- an agenda. Like modern so-called music- usually some type of hiphop or whatever passes for R&B & pop music these days, it all sounds the same. On Nov. 14th, I walked into a library & there was music playing( I thought libraries were supposed to be quiet), it was obviously a radio station that plays today's popular music( some rap & modern R&B, & that horrible Jonelle Monae song), the majority of the time I was in there, I was listening to my own music.
Later that day, I walked into some deli market around Broad & Olney, to get a snack & guess what I was bombarded with? Modern pop music with autotune & rapping or whatever they play on Q102 these days. I also was forced to hear this stuff at Dollar General a few weeks ago, not to mention the innumerable t.v. ads & vacuous morning shows that have to have this crap in them. Thanks for giving me another reason to not wanna leave the house.
Anyway, this can't be an accident. And the people who run these places just assume every customer wants to hear this trash.
I made the mistake of reading some Penelope Cruz interview in one of those stupid magazines, and, of course she had to make sure that we knew she's a Drake fan- why am I not surprised? She's Generation X ( like me) so she should have better taste- what's her problem?
We have to be force-fed this crap, even by celebrities?
Tried to get into 2 Broke Girls but they (for some reason) were going on & on about some fool named 2 Chainz on one episode..

AND watched some show called fam, on Thursday, & should've known something like this would happen- One of the characters just happens to love Baby Got Back & then of course there was the need to have this person perform it during the closing credits or whatever..... enough!

WARPED Guttersnipes - Thompas/Morton

Don't really have nothing
The only way, you can feel powerful is by making me miserable. (A multi-generational family unit ain't all its cracked up to be)
The sewing-machine snake lives to agitate me on purpose cause she's a waste of oxygen and that's the only way she can feel power cause she knows I won't fight back- definition of a bully.
(Afraid to do things that I need to do in MY room, cause when this snake hears any sounds I might make, she happens to find an excuse to come in there, so she can see what I'm doing.)
One of the few times I stood up to her after YEARS of her crap, she had the nerve to tell me -" Don't yell at me"- Marjorie Thompas deserves worse than yelling!
And the 5 snakes are always happy and (emptyheaded)- why wouldn't they be-they do whatever they want & get away with it. Inconsiderate & selfish. One of them had the nerve to say "I'm always happy - that's my personality"..... happy while you're getting on my nerves everyday. Their own little team against me. BAD people are always happy!

And your cooking is not that good. One of you fixes rice every other night, when you could be fixing ANY type of pasta. You do unsanitary things -like put objects on top of a paper plate that people will be eating on or putting used, dirty aluminum foil on top of MY FOOD! (If the bread is more than a month past the expiration date, its rotten, dumbasses)
Do they have any idea how lucky they are that I haven't stood up for myself... that they haven't got got what they deserve? (That's why they're so happy)
When a kid goes out into the world & gets picked on, she should feel better when she gets home, cause your family is supposed to be a fuckin SAFETY NET! Well, my "family" wasn't, a child shouldn't grow up feeling ALONE, I've always felt alone, so basically, they can kiss my ass!

And that sewing-machine snake actually thinks she's smarter than me..... that woman is dumber than a door bell, I have read and know and think about things she has never heard of or would ever understand. I have watched this woman all my life... she's an imbecile! (What kind of woman leaves the bathroom door open when sitting on the toilet AND I remember when I was a kid, she would come out the bathroom naked after washing up.. I didn't imagine this)
Another memory regarding this cigarette-smoking, sewing-machine using, sneaky damn-near silent walking, mush brain- One day, she bought a flavor of Hot Pockets for me that I told her I didn't like, & when I said something about it, she had the nerve to tell me that I NEVER SAID that I didn't like that flavor- of course, I wasn't shocked by her response, because in her warped mind she actually thinks I'm too stupid to know what I like or said. She had the nerve to have an attitude about it, too. Instead of her being a better kind of person, & just saying she forgot, no, it has to be that I'm wrong. So, as usual, she won, & kept buying me that flavor, cause I'm not allowed to stand up for myself. How do you walk around thinking you have the right to tell someone what they said?
The empty headed pricks don't even understand the concept of an expiration date - before you eat something, look at the date sometime, its there for a reason - but, have the nerve to think they're smarter than me. I know about things, these assholes have never heard of.
One of these psychos kept peeking out the half-opened bathroom door, watching me as I'm innocently walking in the hallway to go downstairs.
Who does that?
And what kind of ignoramus comes out of the bathroom with nothing but a towel on, in a house with other people besides his wife living there & most of them women?!
Family causes you nothing but misery. One of the 2 snakes that isn't a blood relative said about HER family - "They don't know how to express how they feel"- HELLO, who in this family expresses how they feel or better yet, actually feels anything? I'm the only one who feels anything or THINKS about anything!
Baby powder left on the toilet seat (what do I expect from her inconsiderate, ignorant ass?) Nana used to do the same silly shit EVERY DAMN DAY. They're the same stupid person, after all.....
Just because Nana AND your empty-headed mother (that would be the sewing-machine snake) put baby powder up their ass, doesn't mean you have to....
(A lot of the things I mention in this post may seem petty, but keep in mind that 2 of the 5 guttersnipes have been driving me nuts since I was 10, all these decades of suppressed anger are now causing me to have chest & upper back pain in addition to the constant headaches)
I caught the sewing-machine snake -Aunt Margie- in the act doing what I already knew she was doing all along- she opened her door slightly, I turned around & looked at her sneaky self just standing there watching me, as usual & then, she shuts the door real quick..... spying on me!
Another day, a guttersnipe who isn't blood -Naje- although she might as well be, the way she acts, did something that I should expect from her, since she's as self-absorbed & inconsiderate as the rest. She grabbed the majority of the fries from the Popeyes' box- which I wouldn't have gotten away with- & used her hands to do it, when there was a fork there- which I wouldn't have gotten way with - no thought to how many other people might want fries, & if I said something about it, everybody would have gotten angry at me, & protected her! BTW , as I watched all this going on, I was having a chest pain.....
Last week, I was reminded of something I think I already know but forgot, the sewing-machine snake was a slut who had her 2 kids BEFORE the father bothered to marry her- in addition to her daughter doing the same thing except her kids have 2 different fathers & I think the second father was married to some woman named Phyllis when the kid was born. HA!
And the sewing-machine snake is a dirty ass that goes DAYS without washing herself (wearing the same outfit for like 5 days, her washcloths dry as a bone) but of course, nobody notices this but me.

Target & the Education System! or Fear of Autodidatics
Inspired by some booboo who blogged about Target vs. Walmart
First of all, I HATE Target (& not just because it has a loathsome Starbucks in there or because it attracts shallow, slightly snobby, & trendy people who carry Louis Vuitton bags).. ....
Second, the fact that she would use an asinine term like "smartly-clad" speaks volumes about her. Then again, she's a teacher, so she always "thinks" in terms of who is or looks "well-educated". Sounds like what she's suggesting, is that looking well-educated means a superficial person obsessed with fashion & labels, which is nothing to be proud of.
And how in the hell does someone look uneducated? Do they dress for comfort instead of so-called style, & why is that a bad thing? Why would someone with her attitude & elitist outlook on life even dare to set foot in a Walmart?
And the school system is really a factory to train people to be MISeducated workFORCE robots- who care more about being " successful" than THINKING for themselves- so, NO ONE is truly well-educated!

And speaking of education, I wish I wasn't bombarded by tv ads for various schools, like that VILE Sallie Mae ad & the Citizens Bank student loan ad, and University of Phoenix and those damn Strayer University ads with Queen Latifiah...... but I know what that's about- they wanna keep the masses BUSY CONSTANTLY going back to school- meanwhile, as long as they live, these "achievers" will never read the books they should be reading or know the things they should know.
They brag about being supposedly educated but have never heard of COINTELPRO or Operation Mockingbird & think the CIA are the good guys!

They don't want people to have too much free time, they may start thinking too much, they might start reading books that contradict what they've been taught!

Thoughts From The Anniversary...
Be careful what you find, when you're looking for some kind of Prince tribute, the radio stations did a much better job last year, & tv channels as well. Anyway, the only thing I could find was unfortunately on some hiphop channel or whatever called FM- of course, isn't every channel a hiphop channel, you have Love & HipHop, Growing Up HipHop, HipHop Squares, & some other things I can't remember, & I'm sure this is all a coincidence (yeah, right)- but I digress....
First, there was something called WeMissYou Prince, which I thought was going to be a documentary with people saying things other the usual B.S., but nooooooo, it was music videos, I like some of his videos, but some I don't wanna see ever again or think about- like anything from the D&P era- so, what did they do? Show Diamonds & Pearls & of course, the LONG version of the Cream video, I would have rather seen Mountains or Anotherloverholenyohead or Alphabet Street. They also showed Kiss for the umpteenth time- my LEAST favorite song on Parade.
Then, there was a short program called The Prince Effect, which was more of what I was looking for, but there were a few comments I could have done without & most VILE- that Judith Hill woman was on there (both, she & Kirk Johnson can go to Hell, did I say that out loud?)

BTW, just read a asinine review of this album at amazon.com, where the reviewer mentioned that his sister called the lyrics "corny".... I can't stand people who call things CORNY... too many people in my "community"-if you know what I mean- love to call things or people - corny- many times the things people should be listening to or watching or the people they should like, always get called corny!

Tim Buckley-I Woke Up
For some reason, people are always going on & on about Jeff Buckley & covering his songs but frankly, I thought his Grace album was boring.
Meanwhile, I rarely hear about his father- Tim Buckley- who made more interesting music and had a better voice.
This is the 3rd time I've created a post about a song from his out of this world Starsailor album.

So-called FAMILY ....... IF you happen to read this.... when I would go to school or anywhere else, when I was a kid & get laughed at, picked on, bullied, whatever, I should 've been able to come home to ALL OF YOU & count on you for comfort or have felt comfortable confiding in you about all of it, but no, even back then, for goodness sake, as young as 10 or 11 years old, something inside me said YOU couldn't be trusted, so why bother. And you have proven me right ever since!
