Edward Snowden's Twitter & Meredith Viera's sheeple audience...
Once again, switching channels cause there's nothing on, as usual.... her panel was talking about Edward Snowden joining twitter & some dumb politician tweeting about how he's a terrorist/traitor & should lose his account.
Guess what?
Her brain-dead audience loudly applauded the politician's asinine tweet. Of course, why wouldn't the types in an audience on yet another show constantly doing loathsome makeover segments & (big surprise) interviewing trash like Flo Rida be stupid enough to "think" Edward Snowden is a terrorist!
They've probably never even heard of Daniel Ellsberg......HELLO! The Pentagon Papers!
Imbeciles!

Stevie Wonder That Girl
A testament to what r&b and popular music sounded like BEFORE the damaging influence of hiphop & people like P. Diddy, Timbaland, R.Kelly, Jermaine Dupri, & whoever's responsible for Destiny's Child took over & ruined music.
You know, the kind of people glorified on Empire.

Flora Purim - Ina's Song (Trip to Bahia) / Transition
Pretty sure, the people who stood in line at an appearance for Kim Kardashian & her makeup artist or are tweeting about what happened on the season premiere of Empire or who listen to French Montana can't handle this.
Sheeple! (Really Sanaa?)

On a much more important NOTE, I love how on her albums, the types of keyboards that George Duke plays are listed, like "Rhodes electric piano" or "ARP string ensemble synthesizer", etc.....
People who REALLY LOVE music love knowing these things!

Vivian Green's new "song"
Really? She takes an eternity to come out with a new song, just to turn around & STEAL Before I Let Go by Frankie Beverly & Maze?! I know its damn near impossible to find (these days) " writers" & producers who actually play instruments, & can compose on those instruments, but come on! This crap should be ILLEGAL....
And why is it everytime I'm listening to a classic funk or r&b song on youtube, some simpleton just has to mention who sampled that particular song?
Who the hell cares!

Rufus & Chaka Khan-Close The Door
This is my second Rufus post, also from the exquisite Ask Rufus album. Enjoy the textures of Chaka's voice, the strings flowing in & out, and the drum fills.

33 1/3 books...
I was just at amazon.com (later found out all of them weren't listed) looking up all the books in this series. I noticed a pattern of mostly male artists or should I say, books about albums by male artists/bands. Some are worthy, like Steely Dan, Prince, & Stevie Wonder. Others not so much. It would be nice if someone had the balls to write a book on Tim Buckley's Starsailor album..

Anyway, if I remember correctly, one of the few female artists I saw was Liz Phair?! You're kidding me right? Why does she get a book ..... cause she "sings" about blowjobs? Liz freakin Phair! But no books on Kate Bush or Laura Nyro?
Female singer/songwriters who paved the way for a Liz Phair are ignored. But guess who isn't ignored... the loathsome Kanye West, & a couple of other rappers & somebody named DJ Shadow... remember every white rock critic sold out & fell under the "street cred" spell, so they just have to embrace EVERY rapper, didn't you know? I guess they think that makes them NOT a racist, when actually its the opposite.
People need to question why the masses (all over the world) blindly accept & can't stop raving about rappers- the WORST examples of black culture.
